General Comments
Cheryl is an attorney in San Francisco where she has practiced for the past 23 years. She is a graduate of Hastings College of the Law and a certified family law specialist. Cheryl devotes her time exclusively to the practice of family law, including issues of custody, property division and support. She received recognition as a “super lawyer” for Northern California.
Cheryl also is experienced in the representation of LGBT clients; both registered and non registered Cheryl is a frequent speaker at Bar Association of San Francisco on the issue of domestic partners. She is on her second term as a board member of Bay Area Lawyers for individual Freedom (BALIF) and has been a member of NCLR family law advice group for over 10 years.
Cheryl has served as a mediator and arbitrator in family law disputes for the past decade. While continuing in her mediation and collaborative practice, she also continues to represent clients in litigation where appropriate.
Prior to law school, Cheryl was (and still is) an accomplished photographer. She is a divorced parent with a teenager who teaches her every day.
