General Comments

Charlie Spiegel’s San Francisco practice includes divorce and custody mediation, adoption and real estate matters. Charlie served as Co-Chair of the National Board of Lambda Legal, and was a founding Executive Director of Our Family Coalition, the bay area’s LGBT family organization. Charlie received a Fammy award from San Francisco’s Jewish Family & Children’s Services in 2009 for his advocacy for families, and writes and lectures extensively on the topics of separating with respect and intentionality. He has lived and raised his family in the SF Bay Area since soon after graduating New York University School of Law with honors in 1987. His 20 years of practice in varied areas of real estate law in the Bay Area is helpful to separating couples and those facing 'underwater' home loans or foreclosure.
